Occasional MP3 Blogging: The Songwriting Genius of the MNS
Filed under: Musicality — Rick @ 023157CST

My friend Matthew Neill Sharp, who records as Mathgeeks and is also a member of my musical group Box Set Authentic, is so prolific a songwriter and recordist that it’s hard to keep up with his output. Which means that every now and then, a truly great song of his slips through the cracks.

The other night, while going through some new material of his, I stumbled on an older song of his that had escaped my attention.

it *is* a good song. and good ol’ itunes random play decided to follow it up with mns’ ‘zombies need hugs’.

As you know, iTunes totally loves me. Also, I totally love iTunes. That’s why I married it!

Just finally got off my butt and got an ipod classic (black, 80 Gb). The Might Means Right album is in heavy, heavy rotation. Production is awesome. Song writing is tight and melodic. Even Artwork rocks the Cover Flow. Which reminds me to ask the general audience…. where are the BSA covers? I made Shopper’s World and can email it… as well as scanned Tart… I’ve uploaded stock BSA logos….. Also, I love Matt’s “30″ album cover the best of all. Geo-art.
