Life on Mars RIP, Ashes to Ashes redux
Given the delay, owing to the meltdown of the site, I’ll be quick:
The U.S. Life on Mars was unsatisfying crap. Its hasty and ill-considered demise robbed me of my opportunity to interview Gene Hunt side-by-side with Gene Hunt.
The new series of Ashes to Ashes, on the other hand, is … intriguing. Imperfect, to be sure. Occasionally hasty itself, but a damned sight more engaging than its prequel’s U.S. sequel.
